uppercaseliving.com

This is a rub-on that I ordered and applied from www.uppercaseliving.com. It took me awhile to do it (about 2 1/2 hours), but I think it is because it is really big! What do you think? I think it goes perfect with our Thomas Kincade and Great-Gramma's 100+ year old table! I love the quote, "Be true to who you are and the family name you bear".

Super Couponing

Ok, so this weekend was our official first attempt at the Super Couponing craze.....First stop, CVS, where I spent $2.99 on a $8.99 lipstick (after all coupons and a previous Extra Cash Bonus I forgot I had) and walked out with a $3 ECB..... Spent $42 at Walgreens, saved $68 and came away with $15.50 in Register Rewards. The Jay went to Target, spent a total of $7.79 and came home with a $5 Target Gift Card! I think pretty successful day!

Recipe Club 2010

My Mom started a Recipe Club this year with some of her friends, my cousin Joann and my Aunt Fee. She asked me if I wanted to participate, and so this is my first creation. What do you think? Here is the recipe:

Holiday Won Tons
1 pound sausage, browned
1/2 cup diced red peppers
1 cup ranch dressing
1 1/2 cups each shredded cheddar and monterey jack cheese
24 won ton wrappers

Spray muffin pan and brush won tons with olive oil. Place won tons in muffin pan and bake at 350 degrees until crispy (5 minutes).....

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Fill won tons with sauage mixture and bake an additional 5 minutes. So easy and SO GOOD! Enjoy!

Ingredients for a VERY good day!

A trip to the book store, homemade chicken pot pie, spicy chili to freeze for the week, homemade italian salad dressing (Thanks to Helen and Pampered Chef for the recipe) and now a mid-afternoon nap. Life is so good! (picture of me in my snuggie courtesy of Jason)
